Annual meeting, raffle drawing, and fall program on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
Please join us on September 26, when we will update you on what has been happening at the Homestead and share some of our plans for the upcoming year. It is also time for electing board members with Dave Zepecki up for reelection this year. We will be drawing the winners of our cash raffle, and while you don’t have to be present to win, if you are there you could be going home with a check in your pocket! Reminder: Get your your raffle tickets in to us or bring them to the meeting.
The business portion of the meeting will be followed by a program by Judy Kesser, a retired educator who has become an avid advocate for the preservation of monarch butterflies. Judy will provide insight into the annual migration that is taking place right now and will give you ideas on how to help this iconic species. We are celebrating the fact that the Homestead has just become a Monarch Waystation and we will provide information on how you can enroll your yard in this program. Please be sure to join us for this chance to learn about monarch butterflies and socialize with your fellow Homestead members. The meeting is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.
